Private Companies and UAE Employment Visas
Private companies in the UAE can obtain employment entry permits for their employees, provided they apply for residence visa status within 30 days of the employee’s entry into the country.

- Free Zone Companies: Employment visas are valid for three years.
- Onshore (Mainland) Companies: Employment visas are valid for two years.

Family Residency Visas
Please note that the information below only applies to residents of the UAE.
Sponsoring a Residence Visa for Family Members in the UAE
If your family members are outside the UAE, you must first apply for an entry residence visa. After their arrival, you have up to 30 days to apply for the residence stamp.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Salary Requirement:
- AED 4,000 monthly (or AED 3,000 with accommodation) for spouse and children sponsorship.
- AED 20,000 monthly (or AED 19,000 with a two-bedroom accommodation) for parents.
Required Documentation
Application and Financial Documents:
- Typed application form.
- Salary certificate (for government employees) or attested work contract (other employees).
- Three months of recent bank statements (long-term residents). New residents may submit the most recent month along with a bank letter confirming salary transfer.
Accommodation and Identification:
- Attested tenancy contract.
- Emirates ID card.
- Labour card.
Marriage Certificate:
- For spouse sponsorship: Marriage certificate attested by UAE authorities (for UAE marriages) or by your home country.
Passports and Photos:
- Original and copies of passports (sponsor and family members).
- Three passport photos per family member.
Medical Check-Up:
- Medical report for spouse or children over 15 years old from an authorized UAE hospital or clinic.
Important Notes
- Validity: Family members must not remain outside the UAE for more than six months to keep their residence visa valid.
- Polygamous Marriages: Muslim expatriates with more than one wife may only sponsor a residence visa for one wife.
